We left Norway on Thursday October 1st, and arrived in Hong Kong on Friday October 2nd. We got to spend a week there before we continued to Lishui.
- First impressions of Hong Kong coming out of the airport.
- This was the first house we stayed in at Tao Fung Shan.
- This was our view from Tao Fung Shan, the retreat center we stayed at in Hong Kong.
- China is a country of contrast. New meeting old. Little besides big. Here represented by this Western style house in front of a tall sky scraper.
- More and more of the Chinese population are getting cars, something that results in it being hard to find parking space. Why not park your car wherever?
- Tilla and I were enjoying the view before we set out on our hike, the morning after we arrived in Hong Kong.
- Tina and Tilla walking into the unknown.
- The walk was long and hard (for me), but the view was GREAT!
- After having walked for 2 hours in about 30 degrees Celsius it was finally time for a break! We took a swim in the South China Sea, had a bite to eat, then walked for 2 more hours.
- This is how Hong Kons should be seen; from the top of The Peak -most preferably by night.
- Tilla is trying milk tea for the first time.
- I won’t remember Hong Kong only by the city itself, but also by this forest path between “our” mountain and the metro station. This is were I saw a snake one of the first days..!
- Hong Kong down town harbour with sunset.
